Global Youth Mental Health Awareness (GYMHA)

Summary

The partnership between Little Garden and GYMHA aims to create and maintain a small hydroponic urban farm to provide a relaxing and meditative environment for individuals struggling with mental health. This method of horticultural therapy, dating back to 2000 BC, uses the practice of growing plants to improve mental and physical health through nutrient-rich solutions. The farm will not only provide a sense of purpose and self-worth for individuals, but also provide nutrient-rich vegetables to improve mental clarity and alertness. This method has been recognized as a reputable method for various groups including adults and children with special needs, mentally ill patients, veterans and the elderly.
